No, ASID Academy is a continuing education and professional training provider for interior designers. While ASID Academy does not offer degrees, we do send course completion information to IDCEC awarding the CEUs predetermined for each course.

Registration is necessary to take a course and to ensure proper reporting of credits to the IDCEC once you complete a course.
All you need is your ASID user name and password.
Anyone can take an ASID Academy course. ASID membership is not required to register for the ASID Academy.
Only ASID will have access to membership information for those users who have started and completed their course(s).

The red navigation bar across the top of the screen allows you to browse our courses in several ways.
You can search for ASID Academy courses by using keywords or phrases in the "Search" box found on the upper-right corner of all pages (under the Sign In/Sign Out button). You will receive a list of all courses that include your keywords in either their title or description.
Most of the courses found on ASID Academy have audio, but not all do. The audio will automatically begin when the course is launched. Be sure your speakers are on and the volume is turned up. If you still cannot hear the audio, be sure that you computer's audio settings are not set to MUTE. As a last resort, you can always close and re-start the course.
No. You can start a course and come back to it later. When you’re ready to begin your course again, it will ask if you want to start where you left off last. Courses are only marked complete once you have viewed all course content and passed the quiz.
No. Courses are not available for offline viewing. You can access your course at any time by logging into your ASID Academy account (same log in as the general ASID website, asid.org).
Course exams begin automatically after the course has been completed.
If you fail the quiz, you can retake it as many times as is necessary for you to pass it.
In order to retake a quiz, you must close the course and re-launch it. If asked to resume where you left off, select "No" and then navigate directly to the quiz at the end of the course contents on the left.
Yes, you are able to review the course content as often as you would like, but you will not be able to retake a course quiz if you already passed/completed the course.
Note: You cannot earn additional CEUs for retaking completed courses you have already passed.
No. The courses are intended for individual use. Completed courses can only be reported for one user’s Continuing Education requirements. Do not use another individual’s login information to register for this course. You must login as yourself to receive a certificate of completion and credit for completing a course.
All credits are reported to the IDCEC. If you think you are missing a credit, please contact the ASID Education Team.
An exam score of 80% or higher is considered a passing grade. If you do not score an 80%, you can re-take the exam as many times as you need to pass.
Once you've registered for a course, it will appear within the My Course dashboard.
Once you've completed a course and passed its exam (with a score of 80% of higher), it will appear within the My Courses dashboard. Under "Certificates" click the Download link to view and print a certificate for the course.
Note the current reporting period is January 1, 2016 – December 31, 2017.
In order to earn CEUs for a course, you must pass the quiz (80% is a passing score). The course will show up as “Completed” under “My Courses.” If you are an ASID member, we will report the CEUs earned to IDCEC on your behalf. All courses must be completed before January 1, 2018, to count towards the current compliance period.
ASID Academy will run best if your set-up meets the following minimum requirements.
The best way to open and play the courses is by using Google Chrome, and a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.
